摘要
Aimed to determine dynamic viscoelastic properties of carbon steel theoretical and experimental studies were carried out into dynamics of a closed spherical thick-walled shell. The charge of liquid explosive substance incapsulated and located in the centre of flask was ignited by electric spark technique to provide for uniform loading of shell on experiments. On the basis of results of meridional strain measurements produced with the help of tensometer the value of logarithmic decrement of damping was obtained. The advantages of the method proposed as compared to a routine one are more weak dependence of material properties on mechanical treatment of samples and lesser sensitivity to external friction in the course of experiments.
