摘要
A comparative analysis is given for various conceptual designs of laser fusion power plants and power-technology installations. The similarity of the fundamental engineering-physics solutions is established. The predicted technical-economic characteristics, with allowance for progress in physical research on laser fusion, form the basis for conclusion that economically efficient utilization of such plants by the end of this century is possible.
