Effect of boundary carbide on creep crack growth in Fe-Cr15-Ni25 alloy

摘要
The cavities nucleate at the triple junctions of grain boundaries in single phase Fe-Cr15-Ni25 alloy, but at carbide in such alloy with the carbide precipitated at grain boundary. The boundary carbide may retard the growth and interlinkage of cavities so as to remarkably improve the resistance to creep crack growth.
