Business of recycling paper

Recycling is big business in Australia. The Australians treat recycling as seriously as they do preserving their natural habitat and wildlife. Considering that in Australia alone, recycled paper makes up 61.5% of the fiber used in paper production, and that 88.9% of the content of packaging and industrial paper is recycled paper, it is no wonder then that paper recycling in Australia is a lucrative industry. Further impact of this can be seen in the fact that there are 18 paper mills in Australia, and indeed, it should be duly noted that 14 of them use waste paper for some or all of their products.
