ON MODELING EXTERIOR BOUNDARY-VALUE PROBLEMS.

A new approach is discussed to solving partial differential equations for infinite regions using finite analog or digital models. The approach is based on an explicit analytical integral relationship between the values of the required solution of the problem on two arbitrarily chosen curves in the region where the solution is sought. This approach makes it possible to eliminate the inherent bias of the modeling method resulting from neglecting the contribution of the infinite periphery of the region. It should also be noted that implementation of the proposed method involves minimum computer hardware costs (or computer time).
