The conditions of mass exchange in steam-generating channels with impermeable walls have been studied in rather great detail. The experiments were carried out in steam-generating channels with an impermeable wall and with a surface covered by porous iron oxide deposits. The agreement is noted of the results on the mass exchange for heating uniform along the length and for heating according to a cosine law. A generalization of the results with respect to the degree of concentration is given.
