The growth of automotive electronics is potently evidenced in Delco-Remy's new MISAR system. Standard equipment on the Oldsmobile Toronado, this ignition system uses the first microprocessor in a production automobile. Its design and development indicate that such digital devices offer more potential than can currently be exploited.
