摘要
The mechanical properties of zirconia are degraded severely with increasing temperature because of reduced effectiveness of stress-induced transformation and softening of glassy grain boundary phases. In this study, an attempt was made to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties by the incorporation of alumina chopped fibres into a yttria-doped partially-stabilized zirconia.
