Experimental results on the radiation properties of a flux of beryllium oxide particles, as well as on the imaginary part of the complex refractory index obtained as a result of calculations, are presented. The experiments have, for the first time, been carried out on a special setup at the temperatures of 1800-3000K within the visible sector of the spectrum. In the beryllium oxide fusion region, a strong dependence of the radiation properties on the wavelength is observed.
