摘要：
The aesthetics related issues associated with the design of atrium smoke exhaust systems within school buildings are discussed. The design of the smoke management system must accomplish a high-level of life safety, while minimizing property losses. In regard with it, the building codes specifications specifically required for smoke exhaust rates are also reported.
