摘要
Attention is being devoted to the problem of the concentration of gas in the interelectrode space. This is related to the fact that the gas that evolves has a negative effect on such technological characteristics of machining as accuracy, productivity, energy consumption, and surface quality. It is shown that an additional bipolar electrode installed between the cathode and part being machined increases the technological possibilities of electrochemical machining. Experimental investigations confirmed the uniform distribution of the current and surface roughness along the channel length.
