Investigation on fog-cooled patenting for high-carbon steel wire by low concentration polymer aqueous solution

摘要
High-carbon steel wires were patented with fog-cooling by low concentration polymer (CMC, PVA) aqueous solution. The effect of polymer on the cooling behavior was analyzed. The dynamic characteristics of fog-cooling can be improved by adding polymer to stabilize the gas layer, so that this method has the advantage over bathing type non-lead patenting in eliminating brittle phase.
