摘要
The paper presents an experimental and theoretical study on atmospheric transmission of HeNe- and CO//2-laser radiation and on transmission in the photopic range. A continuously operating newly designed transmissometer measured the attenuaton of the two wavelengths simultaneously and over a common path length. In addition, laser transmissometer measurements in the photopic range were performed using conventional visibility meters. The results are compared with a semiempirical formula, with deductions from the Mie theory, and with a model describing transmission through rain.
