摘要：
The interdependences that exist between the rate of heat release, the cycle of functioning and the functional and constructive parameters of direct injection Diesel engines are analyzed. By the mode in which the results are presented, an attempt is made to indicate concrete possibilities for improving the burning process in the engine and, hence, the economic efficiency of this type of machine.
