摘要
The authors report high-temperature creep of technical purity tungsten and W-Y//2O//3-HfO//2 and W-Y//2O//3- less than HfO-Cu alloys prepared by powder metallurgy methods. Short-term creep tests were made in vacuum at 1500-2500 degree C. The applied stresses were about 50-80% of tensile strengths corresponding to the test temperature. The presence of dispersed refractory particles initiates the critical stage of polygonization in creep, which is accompanied by an increase in the creep rate and a decrease in the life of the material.
