摘要
The equipment of interactive graphic displays with hardware for three-dimensional rotation necessitates the development of program modules allowing optimum utilization of the expanded capabilities of the hardware. The special problem of the rotation of three-dimensional objects on the display is treated. A new method for continuous and controlled rotation about an object axis in which rotation is accomplished through the multiplication of two partial rotation matrices is described. This greatly helps the users of graphic displays to solve three-dimensional problems.
