Phase Effect of Pulsating Heat Transfer Around a Thin Wall.

摘要
The temperature gradient theta between a thin wall and a liquid in conditions of low-frequency pulsations of the heat transfer coefficient alpha at a constant thermal load is approximately determined. It is shown that such pulsations of alpha lead to a decrease in the averaged heat transfer owing to a phase shift in the oscillations of alpha and theta . Graphs of the dependence of the phase shift and amplitudes of oscillations theta , as well as of the coefficient of decrease of averaged heat transfer, on the amplitude of oscillations alpha and the relative wall thickness delta / LAMBDA , where LAMBDA is the length of the temperature wave in the wall, are presented.
