摘要
The article presents a fully developed analytical method of designing airport pavements, measuring the residual bearing capacity of existing surfaces, and designing the reinforcements needed. Measurements, which are subsequently evaluated with the aid of a computer program, are made with falling weight devices which make allowance for the complex stress pattern produced by different aircraft types.
