With engineering innovations and new decrees and guidelines such as the energy savings decree of 2000, future energy savings, construction, and renovation will be defined and determined. That is why the Viessmann goal is to inform planners and interested specialist groups in a series of meetings concerning the changes and effects of decrees and technical regulations. New energy saving constructions and existing facility renovation in the stock of buildings and practical solutions will be introduced. On September 29, 1999 the Viessmann planner forum in Berlin dealt especially with questions on the new energy savings decree.
