摘要
This study deals with a problem of fundamental importance in the construction and maintenance of cement concrete vehicular roadway pavements. The problem in question is the action of weather factors on the pavement, one of the most important actions influencing the performance under traffic of the whole road structure. Starting from environmental conditions specific to rigid pavements the author directs most of his studies toward evaluation of pavement structural behavior under the action of shrinkage by drying and temperature variations.
