摘要
Several mathematical models for the solution of the temperature field of solidifying steel ingots are constructed. For simplification, a one-dimensional problem is solved which can be applied to both pure metals and alloys. The one-dimensional case can be extended to two- and three-dimensional solidification of steel ingots having an approximately rectangular shape and a weight of approx. 10 tons.
