摘要：
The importance of availability of standby systems for various business critical operations was discussed. The supported information technology (IT) infrastructure at all times and the elimination of single point of failure (SPOF) was also discussed. The redundant component failure was removed by various factors that included technology planning, people planning, and process planning. The type of software employed and the work environment were the main factors influencing the type of system component employed.
