Steel selection cuts costs

Tribology is the current buzzword for UK industry. Previously confined to the realms of academia, a major campaign spearheaded by the Institute of Mechanical Incorporated Engineers (IMechIE) has pushed tribology into the central arena as a simple means of dramatically improving profitability and operating efficiency of British Industry. IMechIE suggests that this saving to industry could be in the region of £1.5 billion per year on bottom line savings.
