摘要
The phenomenon of change of mechanical properties of metals subjected to the effect of hydrogen is considered from the point of view of the physicochemical theory of deformation and fracture of solids. Methods of protecting metals from the harmful effects of interaction between metals and hydrogen are proposed. Ways to utilize this phenomenon to obtain a positive effect during mechanical working and under operational conditions are outlined.
