Palo Alto, California, has taken recycling to the next logical level. The Internet with the community web site has been tapped to match used goods with groups collecting old goods. Palo Alto residents can click on 60-plus categories of materials that can be reused or recycled, from corrugated paperboards and mattresses to computers and musical instruments.
