AUTOMATIC CORRECTION OF DISTORTIONS OF THE AMPLITUDE-FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTIC OF BROADBAND CHANNELS.

The problem of designing systems for automatic tuning of correctors of any type for correcting distortions of the amplitude-frequency characteristics (AFCh) of wideband channels for transmitting newspapers is discussed. It is noted that creation of such systems is possible on the basis of the criteria of mean absolute and mean quadratic errors. Relations are obtained for determining the main parameters of a system, which uses the mean-square-error criterion, from the specified standards for the channel. An example of the use of the theoretical results obtained for tuning AFCh distortion correctors of channel equipment is presented.
