Experimental data on the distribution of basic parameters and rates of photochemical processes in the upper atmosphere

摘要
This paper presents a brief survey of main achievements in the investigation of the most important atmospheric parameters in the earth's ionosphere with the aid of rockets and artificial satellites. A description is given of the results obtained in measuring atmospheric density, the results of determining the composition of neutral particles by mass spectrometric and optical methods are compared, and the main results of numerous measurements of the ion composition and electron concentration are shown.
