Underground development, mining methods and ore processing by Rio Algom Corp. at Lisbon, Utah, are featured here. The company must contend with the depth and irregularity of the mineralized beds, major and minor faulting, and the hazard of water bearing beds and pockets. Moreover, ore processing plants must adhere to strict pollution and environmental control regulations.
