摘要
The hydrobotanical method of treatment is complex; both the plants themselves directly and the epiphytic microflora accompanying them, oxygen produced by hydrophytes during photosynthesis as well as many other factors determining the abiotic conditions of the environment (pH, temperature, illumination, salinity) participate in the process of breakdown and utilization of the pollutants. This paper examines some results of studying the possibilities of using macrophytes for intensifying the purification of waters from thiocyanates under conditions of laboratory and pilot-plant experiments. The objective was to find the optimal conditions of removing thiocyanates from water by the Box-Wilson experimental design method as well as the possible mechanisms of metabolism of thiocyanates by macrophytes.
