摘要
The manufacturing techniques were studied for the high strength and heavy wall thickness steel pipes for jack up rig. High strength pipes up to 80 kgf/mm**2 class giving good low temperature toughness to pipe bodies and welds were produced. The dimensional accuracy and the weldability such as girth welding and resistance to cold cracking and SR cracking, which may affect the welding efficiency at the fabrication, are also described.
