Acrylic emulsion producers in US have raised the prices due to high energy and raw materials cost. All the major producers have raised the prices by 3-4% in all the categories of emulsions. Producers are hopeful for the significant increase in demand for the acrylic emulsions in 2004. producers are worried about the long term implications of the high oil, natural gas and monomer prices, which are the main reason behind the low margins and prompting price increase.
