摘要：

The design method of the detector of system parameter failures based on a bank of Kalman filters and the modified sequential probability ratio test, which has been presented in the previous paper and has been proved to be valid for second-order-system parameter failures, is applied to the case of failure detection in a lateral flight control system of a space shuttle orbitor. It is shown by a digital simulation that the design method is useful for such an actual system of higher order.
