摘要
The effect of Ca addition on impact and usual fatigue characteristics was investigated in JIS AC2B(Al-6.5Si-Cu-Mg)-T6 aluminum casting alloy with different Fe content. Impact fatigue strength in the low cycle life region of a low Fe content sample was greater than that of the high Fe content one. Both impact and usual fatigue strengths, especially in the high cycle life region, increased by refining and spheroidizing of eutectic Si particles and also refining of Al-Fe based intermetallic compounds with small addition of Ca.
