摘要：
Electric batch-transfer furnaces with magnetohydrodynamic pumps for lead alloys are described. The operating principle of the MHD pump and the structure of the installation are indicated. The technical characteristics of a new type of batch-transfer furnace are given and their technical advantage over existing models are demonstrated.
