Development of technology and expansion of mechanical groundwood application

For last 15 years the increase of volumes of output of fibrous semi-finished items in Russian pulp and paper industry was carried out basically due to commissioning new capacities on manufacture of most modern kinds of mechanical groundwood - TMP/CTMP on Syktyvkar forest enterprise, JSC Volga, JSC Solikamskbumprom and Kamsky CBK. The author concludes that Mechanical groundwood is one of the most perspective fibrous semi-finished items for manufacture of mass kinds of paper at the enterprises of Russia. Perfection of technology improves its paper forming properties that will allow to apply the given semi-finished item in a paper composition more widely. Application of this technologies will allow to make TMP/CTMP with the diversified properties that will allow to expand the range of paper and board production.
