摘要：
Variation in elastic properties measured on various papers and their relationship to drying stress variations in the thickness direction of paper is the main concern of this investigation. A significant variation in internal stress (used as a measure of drying stress) and residual stress in the thickness direction have been determined using stress relaxation and curvature measurements, respectively. These findings may have importance for the converting and end-use properties of paper and board.
