摘要：

Heavy nickel plating is presently used by Sandia Laboratories, Livermore (SLL) to structurally join 6061-T6 aluminum to AM363 stainless steel. Corrosion tests, heat treating studies, and the influence of various activating steps in the plating cycle on subsequent nickel adhesion were investigated for a stainless steel-to-aluminum joint made by electroplating with thick nickel.
