The distribution of the intermediate stable combustion products, the electric potential, and the temperature in laminar flames of propane-butane mixtures with air of various composition at normal and reduced pressures has been investigated. The influence of various factors on these distributions was studied. The presence of intrinsic electric and magnetic fields in the flames has been demonstrated, and is shown that an external electric field matched to the intrinsic field of a flame effectively influences the combustion process, particularly the concentration and distribution of the peroxide radicals.
