摘要：
A flexible new robot-control system and programming language, VAL-II, adapts industrial robots to today's changing factory environments by helping users to write complicated programs quickly. Level 3 forms the basis of VAL-II as it offers the extended capabilities, including structured constructs, full arithmetic functions, external robot-path modifications, and supervisory computer-communications support. Since the system supports the features found on the lower two levels, it can handle their application and also modify the robot arm's path from data transmitted through external sensing devices.
