摘要
The paper analyzes the motion of a small spherical particle in a planar steady vortex flow when the difference between the particle velocity and the flow velocity is small. The angle between these velocity vectors, as well the relative difference in their magnitudes are described as functions of the following flow variables: streamline curvature, longitudinal pressure gradient and vorticity.
