A short introduction into HDO (collective remote control) problems is followed by a presentation of basic parameters of a linkage element and thus also a HDO transmitter on the 110 kV level. The service properties of the transmitter are derived from the basic loading equations after their transformation to circular diagrams. Work connected with the realization of a new transmitter and its construction including investment costs is described.
