Activities related to microprocessors, currently developed in Italy, are reported. This involves a project of a video terminal display where an 8 multiplied by 300 microprocessor is used as a floppy disk controller. For this reason, a simulator and an assembler for 8 multiplied by 300 were developed. The structure of this software development tool is presented.
