摘要
In this paper the approximate solution of the problem of finite deformations of the open cylindrical shell, simply supported on the boundaries, caused by the normal load moving with a constant velocity on the shell surface in the direction of its generator is presented. The mass of shell as well as the mass connected with the load are taken into account. The nonlinear equations of a theory of shallow cylindrical shells completed by the corresponding dynamic terms are the starting points. From these equations, using the Bubnov-Galerkin method, the systems of ordinary differential equations were obtained, which by turn were solved numerically on the digital computer by the Runge-Kutta method. Diagrams of deflections changing in time obtained in this way are analyzed to examine the relations between critical velocities and loading parameters. Two special cases of the load are considered: the load distributed on the circumferential segment and on the surface.
