In this report four contributions to the calculation of turbulent boundary layers are summarized. First, the form parameters and the dependence of the friction coefficient on these parameters are investigated. The author also succeeds in calculating the shear stress inside the boundary layers and from it the dissipation coefficient. In two further papers known integral methods are improved, without, however, being able to derive a method which is satisfactory in every case. Probably, all methods of this type will be overstrained in the neighborhood of separation points, since the usual neglecting of certain quantities, which must be carried out in boundary layer theory, is no longer permissible in these neighborhoods. Therefore, in the last paper a difference method cannot be solvedclosed form, can probably be handled with much greater accuracy.
