摘要
Cybernetix's novel AUV/ROV concept, Swimmer is discussed. The concept is designed to provide a cost-effective solution for inspection, maintenance, and repair activities on deepwater subsea fields. Cybernetix has formed a joint venture agreement with Statoil and FMC Knogsberg Subsea, and the collaborators are presently working to define and cost the basic design of a Swimmer autonomous intervention system able to operate in accordance with Statoil functional requirements.
