The rf response of a new type of weak link (quasiparticle injected superconducting weak links) was investigated under irradiation of 13 GHz microwave. The samples comprised a lead alloy with a Pb/Nb injector junction. We observed the subharmonic current steps as well as the usual harmonic steps up to the 5th order. The number of steps depended on the indium concentration in the lead alloy. No current steps were observed for a pure lead sample; however, the existence of a phase coherence across the weak link was confirmed by means of the periodic response of a dc SQUID (superconducting quantum interference devices) to the external magnetic field.
