Density surface tension wettability and adhesive power of liquid Al and Al-Re alloy on BN surface

摘要
The density, surface tension, wettability and adhesive power of liquid high purity Al (99.999 wt-%), pure Al (99.6 wt-%) and Al-RE alloy on a BN plate were measured using the sessile drop method. The results show that the density and surface tension decrease but the adhesive power and wettability increase with increasing temperature. The density increases and the surface tension, wettability and adhesive power decrease with an increase in RE content.
