Compared with conventional steel pipes, monopipes made from polyamide 11 and polyamide 12 are corrosion-resistant, light and minimize costs. They have the disadvantages of diffusion leakage and stability in the length of the pipe. By a suitable combination of materials, the process technology allows to minimize diffusion and clearly reduce the change in the length of the pipe.
