Let there be light... and color

The basic concepts of optics discussed in the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) annual meeting were presented. The goals of the workshop were to provide teachers with tried-and-true curriculum materials which would work in the classroom, to give them equipments like ultraviolet lights and spectrometers. These spectrometers could be used to analyze common light sources which includes fluorescent lights and incandescent lights.
