BOW-SELECTION TECHNOLOGY AND SPREADER ROLLER PERFORMANCE.

The article describes recent work in analyzing the functional behavior of curved-axis rollers in spreading. This work has led to new insights in selection bows and applying them. The author explains the bow-selection technology and how it can improve spreader roller performance. It is shown that excellent results can be obtained with substantial wrap on the curved-axis roller, typically in the range of 90 degree C.
